Luke Fair - Plutoid : Remix Contest

We’re excited to announce our Insomniafm remix competition in collaboration with Nightlaw Artist & DJ Agency. When it comes to big names in electronic dance music, you have in mind the name of Luke Fair. One of the most down to earth artists you'll meet in the industry today, it's not cliche to say Luke Fair is "all about the music." Never one to be flashy or over the top, Luke has preferred to let his tunes define his career. By doing so he's quietly become a global hero to his devoted fans and upstart DJs and producers who yearn for the soul and energy the Luke Fair sound provides.

It's particularly serendipitous that he'd deliver to us the stems of his 2012 upcoming release "Plutoid." Regardless of whether you’ve remixed a song before, we invite you to experiment, enjoy and create. We’d genuinely like to hear all your ideas – no matter how weird or wonderful.

Your entry should be submitted to the competition no later than June 1st, 2012. We recommend you to upload on Soundcloud account to submit your track. When submitting your remix ensure that the download option is disabled and the track set to ‘public’. Please include an email address with your submission.The winner will be selected by Luke Fair and his decision is final.

In the unlikely event that the judge deem no tracks are of sufficient quality, Insomniafm withhold the right not to declare a winner up or include any entries on the ‘Plutoid’ EP.

Please submit only professional quality product for consideration.

Entrants must warrant that their entries are original work and do not infringe intellectual property and privacy of a third party. Any submissions identified using a sample that is ‘uncleared’ will be disqualified. The definition of an ‘uncleared’ sample is a loop, sample or musical work for which you do not own the copyright (ie: you didn’t create it). You are free to use sounds that were created by you and/or royalty free loops. The submitting party bears all responsibility for their use of any ‘uncleared’ content.
