Biographie-En	Roman was born in Moscow, Russia. He first started listening to eurodance in 1992; bands like 2 Unlimited, Cappella, Culture Beat and U96. When he moved to the US in 1993, he listened to dance mixes on the radio, and as soon as he got a computer with access to the Internet, he got very much involved in electronic music. His early influences were mostly european hardcore producers, like Scooter, Bluemchen, Ultra-Sonic, Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo, Paul Elstak, RMB, Raver's Nature, and Members of Mayday. Later on, he got interested in trance music, and was mesmarized by the sounds of Paul van Dyk, Sasha, and John Digweed. He started attending Northeastern University in 1998 and met DJ Mateo, who told him about a party he was playing at. That was the first "rave" experience for Roman and he was hooked. After about a year of going to parties, he decided he wanted to play at them too. But what to play? Well, since he was still a huge fan of happy hardcore and trance, he settled on trancecore, which is the combination of the two. It is a fairly new genre to most partygoers in the US, however, the roots were laid almost a decade ago. Roman got turntables and started buying records in the summer of 2000. His favorite producers are Sharkey, Energy, Marc Smith, Tazz & Loopy, and Helix. His promo CD titled "Ignition" got a lot of praise by DJs and partykids all over the US. So be on the lookout, White Russian is here, and he's ready to make you dance your asses off! Long live freeform!
